Organization is the key! The more organized the information is when we receive it, the faster we'll be able to process it, which means you'll get any potential refund that much faster!

We need the final, year-end numbers (not monthly or quarterly statements)

• All W-2's

• All 1099's

• All 1098's

• Any other year-end income statements (retirement distributions, social security, unemployment, K-1's, etc...)

• Records of expenses for items claimed on tax return

  • Cost basis for any stocks sold

  • Property taxes paid

  • Charitable contributions

  • Child care provider's Name, Address, & Tax ID # (usually social security #)

  • IRA contributions

• Social Security #'s & Birthdates for all people on the return

• Copy of last year's tax return (if not prepared by Hacker, Nelson & Co., P.C.)

• A voided check or deposit ticket with your bank account & routing number so your refund can be directly deposited
